PKI .. Outlook express settings (If all else fails try this way) September 3, 2007

1. Associating email address with PKI  

• Step1 .. Right Click the relevant email address from your "Address book" tab & select Properties
  • eg "My work email " ie "colin@elthamcentralmedical.com.au"
    .
  • Click Digital IDs tab
    • 
• Step 2 .. Find the 2 certificates (sign & encrypt) that you have saved to your hard disc and import both

  

• Step 3 .. You can now send signed encrypted emails to me (provided you have set up your own PKI key .. Instruction page - setting up your own PKI)
  • Your contacts list will display
• Problem: Certificates will not display - The 1st certificate below must be in "trusted"
